I met Jaehyeon in town for lunch for our day observation. When I met her, I noticed her make-up was not very elaborated and tend more towards natural beauty. While walking around, we caught up about school work. Usually when she is alone, she might touch up on her make-up, listen to music and surf the net using her mobile phone. She also mentioned that she would feel very proud of herself if she did her make-up to her level of perfection.
We then settled for Japanese food, which is Jaehyeon’s favourite. Since Japanese cuisine has many dishes that have small serving sizes, it provides more variety per actual meal serving. When she is

busy or rushing for time, she prefers a simple meal like sandwich. After lunch, she took her MAC pouch and went to the toilet to touch up on her make-up. She mentioned that MAC is her favourite brand she uses their product and even their pouch. Unlike her, her best friend, Soojung, uses mainly Chanel products and even has a Chanel pouch to keep them in place.
After lunch, we spent some time chatting and shopping around town before going our separate ways as she had assignments to complete. When we spoke about her make-up regime, she emphasized heavily on the importance of make-up removal. According to her, it is one of the most important factors to achieving perfect skin.
After doing her assignments, she will watch her favourite TV programme. While enjoying the show, she also watches out for the main actress’s lip colour. Since they are professional artiste, it changes with every scene and this often turns into the topic of discussion between Jaehyeon and her friends. Before she goes to bed, she will chat with her friends over social media and she will use a face pack every other day.
